Brand Shepherd is a creative agency based in Cincinnati, Ohio. We’re a small business; we think it takes one to know one.
As shepherds of brands, small and big, we herd the branded goodies that make up a brand’s image: Logo & Brand Identities, Web, Packaging, Printed Stuff, Social Media, you name it – we probably herd it.
The idea of shepherding a brand was inspired by our office dog, Jake. He’s a border collie, and his breed loves order, herding sheep, children, and whatever they can place in order.
We had this picture in our head of Jake herding brands instead of sheep: Jake was moving around, getting all these branded assets (logo, web site, packaging, print) back into the pen instead of being scattered everywhere.
Some brands were totally lost, some were underfed, and some were just old and no longer agile.
But soon enough Jake had all the brands back in order, and they were all well-cared-for, bleating in harmony, and all was well with the flock.
This is how we see our role as Brand Shepherd. We want to work with the things that people interact with that make up your brand presence: Your logo/identity system, web, packaging, and printed materials. Add to that our traditional and social media savvy, and you can see why the herding analogy works really well for what we offer businesses.
